As you all know, BOB got hit by a double whammy -- COVID and construction! Hollingsworth Auditorium and its two adjacent buildings got torn down and are being replaced by a large building that will contain an auditorium considerably larger than Hollingsworth. It should be ready for occupancy some time in 2024.

Hotel Info!
We've heard there are at least 41 hotels within five miles of the show hall!
We aren't sure which ones are better than others. But here is some general information:
The closest hotel is probably the Hilton Garden Inn that is behind the McDonalds restaurant on Cumberland Avenue between 17th and 18th streets. This is approximately one mile from the show hall.
There are several large hotels in downtown Knoxville, approximately 3 miles away.
On I-40/I-75 west of downtown, and on I-75 north of downtown, there are hotels varying from 5 to 10 miles away. Popular exits on I-40/75 are: 383 (Papermill Rd), 378 (Cedar Bluff Rd), and 374 (Lovell Rd). Popular exits on I-75 are: 108 (Merchant Dr) and 112 (Emory Rd). Of these, Papermill Rd and Merchant Dr are the closest.
Unfortunately most hotels want a firm commitment of at least 15 rooms before agreeing to offer a discounted rate for rooms. This is why BOB has never had a "chosen" hotel.
